Let's hike Taal!

Are you looking for the nearest barkada adventure in Manila?
Well guys, I recommend you Tagaytay.
I know your not surprised because it's a common tourist destination near Manila but have you already try the Taal Crater Hike while riding on a horse?

Interesting right?

After 2 hours drive from Manila we arrived in Tagaytay at 10:00am. We first try the famous horse back riding experience in Tagaytay. We rent for each of us. I was so excited.

Then one local guy ask us if we want to go on the island where we can nearly sight the amazing crater of Taal.

Of course we said "YES!"

The same guy guide us to tell the directions where we can park our car and ride a boat to get to the island.. Yes guys, a boat.. we will ride a boat.

On this day.. I'm a first timer that's why I am so excited. Go for it!

While in our ride the way is also amazing.. its like you going down in snake road like in Baguio but for me it is much more exciting cause we can tell that we are get nearer. We see the Taal island beautifully as the sun rising cause it's already 11:00 am.

Upon arriving a man from the resort where we stop ask us if we want to have lunch first, but because of our adrenaline rush we decide to eat after the hike.

So the guide bring us where the boat is. The "Bangkero" bring us on his boat and gave us life jacket for our safety..

The boat ride is so fun. You can feel the water splashing all over your body and we are laughing non-stop while teasing each other.

As we got there, the island local guide approach us, and told us the choices and instructions.

You have two choice: Ride or walk. Of course we ride on a horse.

We have our own guide which they called "Hinete". They also offer us mask for the dirt because the air blows heavily while you are going up. You also have your glasses for eye protection. And a cap. Sunblock and etc which can protect you for the direct rays of the sun.

While on the ride, my guide is nice.. I mean they are professionally guiding and protecting their guest. Actually it's the island tourism and I know it is for their living. They have the reputation to protect.

I really enjoy the ride, although I'm a bit afraid because the rock formation going up are really steep. But I told you guys.. It's so exciting.

After more than an hour....

WE ARE NOW NEAR THE CRATER! OMG!

I shouted. “I LOVE YOU TAAL!!” because of splurging excitement.

All my back pains and hunger fades away as we look on the beautiful Taal. I admire it so much! At that moment I can tell that its the best among the destination I've been visited before.

Of course we will never forget the group picture. We don't have any hd camera.. so we use an iphone,

We are surprise as our local guide said..
"Ok Ma'am panorama shot".

So after the panorama shot we ask kuya how did he knows it. He explain that other guest teach them how to use a camera hd, iphone and other high-tech devices.

Oh Wow :)

As we go back, same routine we ride a horse going down; We are so tired yet still enjoy the ride because of the beautiful surroundings. Then we ride with the same boat as we go back to the resort where we park our car.

It's 5pm already when we got into the island and our super late lunch is waiting for us.. Honestly, I can't tell if the food is good because of my hunger :b

I can say that this is my best experience with Taal.

We have no boring moments and we really enjoy our barkada adventure :)

So what are you waiting for?

Let's hike Taal!

My Little Black Dress

I tried to read articles about the little black dress phenomenon and the reasons why every women should have this in their closet.
Let's have a brief history class :b

In 1920's black was reserved as a symbol of mourning.
In John Singer Sargent's painting, Portrait of Madame X, A widow's mourning dress was conveyed a sophisticated symbolic language.

Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel in 1926 published a picture of a short and simple yet sophisticated black dress in American Vogue. Vogue called it "Chanel's Ford".
Vogue also said that the little black dress would become "a sort of uniform for all women of taste".

Way back post-war era and the sexual conservatism of the 1950s, the rise of Dior's "New Look" returned the little black dress to its roots as a uniform and a symbol of the dangerous woman.
The popularity of the little black dress is accessible for women of all social classes that's why in the past decades up to the present is undeniable.

There are lots of reasons why a women should have a little black dress. So let me list my own perspective about this.

1. I have dark skin so wearing a black dress is a sure win.

2. I can play and match any accesories such as shoes and etc.

3. It makes me look slimmer.

4. Makes me feel sexy yet sophisticated.

5. Auto boost my confidence.

6. I can wear it in casual and formal occasions.

and many more.....

So here's one of my favorite LBD. Sorry I don't have any high definition camera but I hope you like it!

Simple On-the-go Chick

Every girl wants to have a simple but a head-turner aura. An on-the-go look that is simple yet attractive. How can we make it possible?
We have conducted a random survey in a small city and based on the guy’s logic, this look make their head rotates 360 degrees.

Simple On-the-go Chick

Based on my calculations and theory (hahaha just kidding ), here’s the list to complete this simple look:

Simple shirt, grey color
Mini denim short, I know it’s too mainstream but it never fails.
Highcut converse preferably black
black leather bag
To complete the details, add some accessories like watch, bracelet and etc.

Then we are ready to go!
